Childhood friends from Merseyside, the pair have worked in the basement building industry for 45 years combined. Paul has worked in basement construction since 1999. Starting out as an underpinner, he worked his way up, eventually working as Structural Manager for a large basement building company, where he oversaw up to 12 projects at a time. He has built a reputation for his high level of knowledge in all aspects of basement construction and structural works. Paul expects every project to be managed with excellence. Over the years he has been involved in the construction and management of over 500 basement projects of all types. His affable nature and flexible approach have made him an excellent resource for clients and contractors alike.

Ben has worked in basement construction for over 20 years for some of the largest basement companies in London. He is extremely experienced in all aspects of basement construction, having started working as a ground worker and continuing his journey to partner and operations director at BaseSpace London. He is extremely knowledgeable of all aspect of basement construction. He enjoys building relationships with clients, architects, structural engineers, suppliers and his teams at BaseSpace London. Ben is very approachable and can guide clients and teams through the complexities of basement construction.

Vlad started in basement construction in 2000. He also worked his way up, learning every aspect of basement building, doing his NVQ in Underpinning in 2002. He is our waterproofing specialist and has undertaken extensive Delta membrane training. He is a highly regarded waterproofing specialist, considered one of the best in the industry.
- Vlad became site foreman in 2005, and by 2007 he was managing multiple sites, liaising with foremen, supervising all site set-ups and overseeing the smooth running of projects. He has successfully completed a Manager’s Health and Safety SMSTS course and holds the Supervisors Temporary Works certificate. He plays a vital role in the business, overseeing the smooth running of all jobs, negating any issues that arise and liaising with all the parties involved.
