Sometimes it is easier and more cost effective to demolish existing structures prior to building the basement and rebuild after the basement has been constructed. This property needed so much renovation work that we advised they do just that! We installed temporary lateral propping to support the adjoining buildings prior to any demolition. We then constructed the basement and superstructure shell before finally removing the temporary props and allowing the rebuild of the house to commence.
